As one fifth of the world's biggest boyband, Niall Horan is used to taking centre stage. But he was more than happy to wait in the wings this week as he celebrated at his big brother's wedding.
Niall, 19, put his band commitments with One Direction on hold to stand by his brother Greg's side at the altar as his best man on Wednesday. The teen pin-up looked dapper in a three-piece suit as he arrived at St Michael's Church in Castletown Geoghegan in County Westmeath, Ireland for the wedding ceremony.
Clearly in high spirits, Niall began the day on top form, singing Busted's The Day I Crashed The Wedding as he drove family members to the church.
The teen also stopped to greet 1D fans who had showed up to wish the newlyweds well as he pulled up in his Range Rover with the groom - and after the ceremony, he made sure he greeted many of them in person, handing out hugs and autographs despite the cold.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, Greg revealed that Niall had been taking his best man responsibilities very seriously. "He has been working on the speech as far as I know, so we will see how that goes," he said. "He's my only brother - there was never any other choice for my best man than Niall."
There was also a surprise in store for Niall at the wedding - he learned he was to an uncle for the first time.
Greg, 25, and his bride, beauty therapist Denise Kelly, happily announced that they are expecting a baby together. The father-to-be told the Sun, "It's Niall's first niece or nephew, so he's delighted."
